About Me

Hi, I’m Sam Oram, a qualified teacher with over 18 years of classroom experience. Alongside my role as Head of Media Studies in a mainstream secondary school, I have been tutoring students privately for the past three years. I previously worked as a Key Stage 3 English Manager and have examined for AQA in GCSE English Language.

I specialise in GCSE English Language (AQA) and Media Studies, offering both 1:1 tuition and small group online sessions. My lessons are tailored to build confidence, strengthen key skills, and support students in achieving their full potential. I have also worked extensively with SEND learners, using a patient, supportive approach to create a positive environment for progress.

In addition to tuition, I create teaching and learning resources for English and Media Studies. These materials are thoroughly tested with my own students, competitively priced, and include free updates once purchased.
